Let the Sun Steal Away the Fallen Rain

Let the Sun Steal Away the Fallen Rain

A Poem by Gabi
"

It's mainly a description of the media and Tom Sneddon (ex-DA of Santa Barbara) in the Michael Jackson 1993-4 investigation and 2005 case. It also has to do with how we should look at things for ourselves instead of relying on said media to provide us wit

"

Ignorance fuels the most foolish malice

Lies are destroying the lives of the wise

We ignore the truth in our state of callous

Their foolish ways have become appealing to our eyes

The truth gets skewed for their own desires

Accusation after accusation

They ignore the one who inquires

When will we achieve realization?

He's locked up, chained up, abused, and defamed.

How can you stand by as these acts are praised?

There's more than meets the eye to what is claimed.

Is this how we want our generations raised?

If it is true wisdom they desire to gain

Then let the sun steal away the fallen rain

I don't really know how to write a sonnet that well, except with the rhyming scheme... So, if there are any rhythmic rules, as well, sorry.
