I can hear the screaming in the next room. I am still tied to the wall, but am awake. The cold chains press hard against my cold skin, hurting me. The only light is a dim bulb hanging from the ceiling, making the room a red shading.

“God, am I in hell? Is this how I will live forever,” I ask aloud, my words only bouncing from the one wall to the other, falling empty on the ground. I feel the energy leaving my body while I hang from the wall. Sweat drip from my forehead onto the ground, the puddle reflecting the dim red light. I feel a strange presence around me, like someone is watching my every breath, every move I make. The door in front of me is rotten, the already damp door sucking more water in. Every drop explodes in my head; every drop of water falling into the already existing pool ignites the flame inside my body.

“Can anyone hear me,” I try to scream out loud, but only a faint voice comes out of my mouth. It has been 4 days without any sleep, or it feels like it. My eyelids feel like lead, but they refuse to shut. Cracks form in my eyes where the dampness dried up, my mouth feels like a desert. I use the last drops of water in my body to sweat, the last drop of water falling to the ground. My eyes close at last. For only a second...

The door flung open. It hit the wall, shock waves move over the floor, waking me up from my 5 seconds sleep. The same guy from earlier with the tattoo in his neck stands tall in the door frame. He smiles like all the others did, the sinister smile.

“You has company!”

A pale body is thrown into the room, onto the ground. The door is shut with a loud bang, I am alone with him. He is thin; the rubbery skin is pale white around the bones. Strings of hair cover his head; black eyes look into the ground. Bruise marks cover his whole body. Dried blood covers his face, his lips and nose swollen. Blood is still dripping from his ear, a fresh cut made by a sharp object; the earlobe hanging on a string of skin.

“You know, pain gets easier the more you feel it, you kind of get used to it. Your body switches off from all the pain, cutting out if it gets too much,” his eyes look up into mine, hate covered only by the skin over his body. “And people like me, yeah, this piece of s**t bag, doesn’t feel pain anymore. Pain is like food; I feed off it and feed on it. I love seeing pain, and I love feeling it as well. Pain to me is like a piece of juicy steak to you, the raw flesh and blood make me so hungry.”

He stands up from the ground, his legs thin like twigs. He moves his head, left then right, producing cracking sounds as the bones in his neck move over each other. His hands shake on the sides of his body, his fingernails dirty and long. I feel his breath coming closer to me, until it is my neck.

“Do you know what happens if I bite you here,” his tongue moves slowly over my neck, tracing the edges of my vein sticking out. I feel my heart pump loud against his cold body. “You will bleed like a son of b***h and die here, in front of me,” waves of shock run through my body as his teeth sink into my soft flesh. His teeth are sharp and I can feel how it pierces my skin.

But, why would I want to do that now,” he pulls away from me; the instant relief makes me almost smile. But the new wound in my neck burns like fire.

“Please...” I try to speak but my body is too weak.

“What, speak up a bit,” he holds his bleeding ear a bit closer to my face. I close my eyes to not see his face. “Open them eyes and look at me when I am talking to you!”

A recognizable thud hits my ears first, then my stomach. His fist is swallowed in my body, moving with incredible power into my body. I struggle to breathe, panting for air. He walks away from me, laughing in a hysterical way, jumping up and down like a five year old would do. My coughs fill the air.

“Oooeh,” he stops with the jumping and looks at me intensely. “What do we have here?”

He stops, fall to his knees and look at my leg. “Looks like we have a little boo-boo here,” his hand moves up and down his chin as he talks in a slow, husky voice. I look down my leg, S**t! I see the wound, the stiches pointing outwards, the dried blood making it more visible.

“What happens if,” he looks at the wound, searching for words to use, “I pull this little button,” he plucks one of the stitches out. A sting shoots through my leg and I shout on the top of my voice.

“Stop it please, I beg you don’t do this,” I plea with the little energy I have.

“He can talk,” he says in a strange way, a pleasurable voice. He pulls on another one, not taking it out completely. He plays with it in his hand, moving it side to side. Blood started to roll down my leg from the wound, the pain shooting into my body.

            “F**k off!”

He pulls the stitch out with fury. “What did you just say,” he stands up, looking me straight into the eyes.

F**k... off,” I lift my right leg, with all the energy left in my body I kick forward into his pelvic bone. I hear a crack sound. The white body falls to the ground, hitting the ground with the help of gravity. His eyes close from the pain, but a smile forms on his face. He sits up straight with the smile; he opens his eyes and crawl backwards to the corner of the room.

“Did you really just do that to me?
