He is everywhere

He is everywhere

A Poem by Teela Bryant

He is everywhere
Open your eyes
Look around
The Lord is here.
In the wind
In a smile
In the eyes of child.
Careful with your pets
The Lord is in their hearts.
He is here
He is everywhere
In a tree so tall and strong
In the soft kisses of a gentle breeze.
Open your eyes and realize
You’re never really alone.

Beautiful! I love reading religious and spirtual poetry, especially in this day and age where it is politically incorrect to do so. The message is so strong here, I especially like these lines:
The Lord is here.In the windIn a smileIn the eyes of child.Careful with your petsThe Lord is in their hearts.
Victor Hugo once said that Mother is word of God on the lips and in the hearts of children. My mother always said that cold noses warms hearts (puppy noses). Your poem brought those back to me, sorry if I rambeled or got off subject, I just found it moving. Great write!!

This is indeed a fine tribute to the creator of it all. Nicely done.
