THE WORLD IN 2050

THE WORLD IN 2050

A Poem by TRISHA PRASAD

It`s the start of a brand new year

The hustle and bustle can be heard.

High rise buildings and much t fear

Robots on the streets marching forward.

As you look around it`s all marvelous

But a closer look will show he flaw.

No people to be seen , it seems horrendous.

The ground around looks barren and raw.

Technology has dominated the world,

Those behind this are now slaves.

The memories of the past seem faint and blurred

Emotionless like the dead in graves.

If 2050 is this unimaginable

Life further would be a bitter strife

For those slaves who live unnoticeable

Hidden away, working to save a life.
