GIRL POWER!A Poem by TRISHA PRASADJust the thing needed to be improved in today`s world...We try to show our power, You think it`s wrong. You think we`re ones To stay quiet life long? What do we seem like A pretty bunch of fools? Well I am sorry to tell you GIRL POWER RULES. Just cause we`re girls Doesn`t mean we`re weak It`s just the way we Handle things is unique. We`ve learnt to stand up For our rights. But what do you know You don`t let us reach such heights. We`ve stopped saying The black and white. But what about girls and boys Would stopping that cause a spite? Just imagine A life without girls. Things on earth Would be like dead pearls. You look at girls As if you`ve just read “Be stereotypical” written On our foreheads. Every time About a girl you think All you imagine is Heels and pink. What you don`t know Are the two sides of a girl. One`s a tomboy And the other`s a girly girl. Being a girl I would like to say Very soon We`d have it our way. © 2016 TRISHA PRASAD |
