![]() THE THICK FORESTS OF AMAZONA Poem by TRISHA PRASADTHE THICK FORESTS OF AMAZON The thick forests of Amazon, Filled with shrubs and trees, Purple was the colored horizon, But no galloping deers
The mirror maze at Bangkok Was filled with mirrors and a door In there was a chair that would rock, And there came a squeak from the
floor,
The hanging garden at my flat, Was filled with plants and leaves, It was safe from nibbling rats, It was as big as coral reefs.
The Samsung store at the mall, Was filled with tabs and phones, It was as big as my family hall, It had beautiful ringtones.
The dustbin in my classroom, Is filled with dirt and dust, It’s the size of my spinning loom, It would never rust. © 2014 TRISHA PRASAD |
