you two alone

you two alone

A Story by Andrew Vaughn

you were one thousand miles
away from home
but i could hear it on the phone
hes on the other line
telling you you'll be fine
baby its just another lie

you left my home
to meet with him
so you could be alone
you two alone

it was 12:51
when my phone rang
i said what are we done
it was a cruel joke
my cruel joke
turned into a harsh reality
you were leaving me

you could have asked any one and they'd say
im wasent going to give up that day
i sweared to you he wasn't right
but you had already made up your mind

you left my home
to meet with him
so you could be alone
you two alone

Yea, that part of life's a b***h. You may never forget it but you'll recover and if you don't well, there's a poem for that too. Dig deep. Good one!
