England in CrisisA Poem by teddybardComment
In England we once had wide open spaces
jobs work money, and happy faces sense of worth life was good on the whole and self respect, even if on the dole. Our children went to proper schools played truant sometimes, broke the rules and if teachers or coppers they came along their ears would sing a sorry song. Then came enlightenment revolution political madness and total confusion the left never knew what the right did and in the confusion common sense hid. In this land we love eccentric Dimmocks but politics is fly paper for Pillocks. © 2011 teddybardReviews
