No Harm Done

Feelings streaming throughout my veins

Wanting to bleed them out

To make a break and let it run its own course

As I close my eyes...

I can picture a river forming

And channel its way down my arm

Creating a waterfall to the floor

Squeeze my hand into a fist

Making the river flow faster

Eyes closing

Head tilting back

Sighing with relief...

Then I open my eyes

Look down at my arm...

With my feelings still locked inside
