Yellow Tales

Yellow Tales

A Poem by Richard Williams
"

A poem about yellow.

"
Displays of yellow in the yard
every spring with winter gone,
blooms of profusion in this lab,
bold dandelions with aplomb.
It is bursts of weed graffiti
emanating without challenge.

Sunshine hues the gray of mornings
after midnight’s darkened data;
Knocking at the night, light will peek
o’er dawn’s wall in yellow promo,
nonchalant to forenoon’s login.
Yet this soothing spectral array
intercedes without alibi.

Very good, and it is indeed fresh to see rhymed/metered poems. I love the usage of unique words, but then again, I feel like the usage is just too much (Don't mind if it was of a natural flow).

Keep writing.
