Green

Green

A Poem by Richard Williams
"

A tribute to green.

"

Of all the colors He hath rendered,

the endless age pristine,

and universal hues remembered

I favor that of green;

green warms the trees and cools the land

with blankets far and wide,

allowing for Thy stead hand

expressions full of pride.

Of earthly shades that He intended

in creation's ancient scene,

it sings to landscapes vastly blended

and vistas so serene;

and in Thy hand of colors measured

the firmament did preen,

to spectrums that the cosmos treasured,

the beauty that is green.

A great tribute to a really awesome colour and beyond that meaning implied within this. One of the most vastly dense colours natural to this planet blankets our earth in so many tones.. earth tones would be my favorite! Great job this was really serene, full of rhythm and rhyme that made it easy to read. Really enjoyed this one.
