Reverend WiiA Poem by Richard WilliamsA reverend celebrates his birthday. There once was a preacher named Wii, whose birthday was his jubilee; he started at dawn, with the birthday song, and sang, “Happy birthday to me.” The preacher then candled his cake, and icing he did not forsake; fudge flavor was thick, so he took a lick, and right in his mouth heaven spake. Since Wii was a man of the cloth, his attitude seldom was wroth; but on this birthday, he wore black and gray, so many considered him goth. A neighbor of Wii then came by, and gave him a six-pointed tie; right by the doorpost, Wii offered a toast, to his friend the Jewish Rabbi. The Reverend Wii, although short, was tall in the popular court; so church members came, to honor his name, and offer him birthday support. Montana big sky was Wii’s home, (for Internet Wii would use Chrome); he got such a lift from each birthday gift, the state of his heart was shalom. There was a wee preacher from Butte, who thought that the day was a hoot; he offered a nod, and then he hurrahed, and then he gave thanks for the loot.
