the love i can never haveA Poem by teapotmeeting you was unforeseen only that voice remembered, magnetic yet sensual; projecting calmness and serenity.
charm unrecognized, but as i get to fathom you, the more remarkable you become. nonetheless, you're my kind of man!
real being hidden in those flesh i see, a lonely wounded heart, emotions suppressed; ego shattered, trying to get through turmoil.
i adore when you speak your mind; your thoughts, notions and wit admired i thought to myself...how could i be blind? oh, what a marvelous creature of mankind!
you made me laugh and shed copious tears, ambivalent feeling is all i have but whatever it is; whatever you do, still have that ardor for you.
sharing you my feelings was a first; a shrug of shoulders is all i gained, am falling for you; ever so clear. when you're in someone's arms, sharp blades of swords embed my heart; bleeding profusely and in agony pretending unaffected; deep inside in misery!
someday, i hope and pray, a warm heart; keen and complaisant; not cold, embittered nor calloused.
await for that moment; i say, no matter how awry things be may. am still deeply enamored with you and 'twas just not easy to let go.
but setting you free, must do to ease the pain i undergo i can never have you.
