Ode to the CD

Ode to the CD

A Poem by team-sophie
"

double meaning- this is quite personal to me

"

To most it is perfection,

A liquid surface;

Smooth and organised.

But I see its glint,

And the secrets beneath.

I trace its circle everyday,

With my fingers, eyes and mind.

Yet I can never seem to find,

The beginning or the end,

Just a ghost of me reflected,

Behind the colours that I wish for.

I often puzzle over,

How so many mixed emotions,

Can be kept in just one place.

The joyious anthems for the brain,

And destroying ballads for the heart.

This poem has very special uniqueness and although im sure what I took from the poem is probably not what the poems meaning to you the author iis makes the poetry great any poem that can bring different things to different people is something special. Ok so heres what i got

lol and only because i been i was djing a rave which i never do anymore and even though i have been drug free all my life i have been around it alot.

soo "A liquid surface"; I took this symbol for a drug- but it could be a reflection of ones self or that image that one always tries but never really achieves

"And the secrets beneath." the harsh reality of nothing is as innocent or as good as it looks

blah i have like three four more lines of notes but im getting called to be designated driver tsk life eh
