A Poem by Matthew

just waiting for june
light growing quietly dark
etched on the pavement

     some gone cough syrup
fucked us up and made us die
     now we fear so much

hush be your whisper
you calm this steady spring wind
and i know its so

     all around softness
and a ragged edge to feel
     a cross on a hill

blessed be the womb
of eternal love which housed
our misadventures

     you're far, far away
watching the sun set on us
     you never did care

scratch that lonesome laugh
rub up against my love light
i make good magick
