Stick with Your Prez

Senator Lindsey Graham soliloquizes about the president:

It can be tough being a Trump fan

When the man's completely lost his mind.

All your visions

And his decisions

Clash, but he's the one with whom you bind.

But you'll support him

And defend him,

Even though his worth is hard to find.

And if you neglect

Your self-respect,

He'll be the one to get behind.

Stick with your prez.

Though he disgusts you clearly,

Pretend you love him dearly,

Or ratings drop. My goodness!

Stick with your prez.

Even though you might despise him,

You'll do whatever the man says.

at least right now we are stuck with him...but i am hopeful things will change with the next election or before....he Preses like a reality tv star...oh wait...he is...
but i'm just saying that here...i will not dare tweet it...
i may get deported...even though i am American made.

Great and timely poem Bob. What has been even scarier that Trump unhinged has been the vast numbers who have stuck with him. You are spot on in saying that his elected supporters may attempt to jump ship when they see it going down but I think that will be hard to judge.
Better days ahead.
