Whistleblowers, do not falter!

Blow those whistles! Sound the alarm!

Although your silence might be safer,

Ultimately, it does more harm.

 

Whistleblowers, keep exposing

Malfeasance where it occurs.

Even though you have to face

All the wrongdoers' smears and slurs.

 

Whistleblowers, point out corruption,

Abuse of power, fraud, deceit,

And widespread hypocrisy.

Apply some pressure; turn up the heat.

 

Whistleblowers, do not fear

Corrupt leaders who call you spies

Merely because you reveal

Their deceptive behavior and lies.

 

Whistleblowers, be for us

Courageous ones who do what's right.

Let the truth saturate

The findings that you bring to light.

"It's unbelievable what's happening in this country today!"
I think there have been unbelievable events happening here since the day I was born in 1956 and that statement could have been said for each and every day, but today's news, yesterday's news, even the day before, that statement is barely true. It's NOT unbelievable anymore. The things our President has been doing is blatant and loathsome and down-right unAmerican and scary. And the sad thing is, our Senators and Congress now, just come out and say they expect it of him, it's who and how he is, they say. Finally, one person found the strength and guts to stand up to him, to protect those same Senators and Congress and all the rest of us. The President calls the Whistleblower a traitor, I call him a Patriot, a Hero because it wasn't him or her who committed the acts of treason, it was the accuser.

Every time I see you've posted, I can hardly wait to read it. I love how you can use rhyming words to tell truth. As I've said before, I wish these words could be sky-written over the WH. Sorry for being long-winded.

I appreciate your comments. I agree with everything you said. It is disgusting how the president always blames the victims: the women who have been sexually assaulted, the asylum seekers who have died at our border, the Democrats for his failures, and whistleblowers for pointing out the truth. And yes, it is disgusting how many people buy into his nonsense and his hateful rhetoric. When are his fans going to see what a monster he is and how toxic he is?
