Angel EyesA Poem by TaliaA poem about sharing mixed feelings and the painful problems
Girl what are you thinking
Looking at the boy next door My head starts spinning Picking my jaw off the floor he starts walking my way With a plain white tee and a nod I didn't even know what to say But his hair- Oh! My! God!- How can that smile Ever turn so vile that smirk; just might work I'm so confused How can those angel eyes Hide such violent lies the chase; the long embrace I'm so confused Girl what are you doing Falling for a guy like that I'm always guessing But I'm always running back I’ll shed many more tears You struck me straight at my core I’ve put up with you for years And you threw me Out! Your! Door! How could sweet words Turn into silver swords Your kiss; so much bliss I'm so confused How could my soul Get a bigger hole You yell; I'm in hell I'm so confused Baby, holder of my heart I know I will always love you But we need some time apart I will find someone new How can that smile Ever turn so vile that smirk; just might work I'm so confused How can those angel eyes Hide such violent lies the chase; the long embrace I'm so confused How can those angel eyes Hide such violent lies © 2019 TaliaAuthor's Note
