Why we should take up hope.

The world is full

Of evil

Of menaces

Of terror

It is a dark place

But One stands above the darkness

Gleaming sword in hand

Poised to smite

Evil, menaces, terror

His name is Hope

Hope is not a man, nor a woman

Hope is not an object, nor a weapon

Hope is an idea

Hope is the reason

That light exists in dark places

So take up Hope

"Let there be light"

Was not declared by God for nothing

For it is the reason

God saw His Creation as Good

First of all, I ADORE your "In Mordor, preparing to conquer Middle Earth... And secondly this poem has a wonderful message! This piece feels like a song to me. I can hear it, feel it as a song. Do you ever write music? Thank you for sharing.
