Great Angels of GodA Poem by tcblackwellThis poem compares Great civilizations and empires to Angels who have forsaken their purpose. The first verse in this poem I borrowed from "Cruel Angel's Thesis," by Neko Oikawa.
"Like an Angel who has forsaken sympathy"
Those with power Those the world needs Focus only on themselves
Great Angels of God have risen Rome, America, Great Britain Just like their expansive power This list knows no bounds The wings on their backs
Are called sympathy, Unity, and Peace These they call their motives But to focus on their own lust They forsake their own wings
These Angels have much in common Greed, Power, Dominance This list too Knows no bounds © 2016 tcblackwellAuthor's Note
