Pain

Pain

A Poem by Thomas Philmore Jackson

You tell me it will be okay?
It was all a lie.
You don’t know what I'm feeling.
You don't know what okay is.
You could never understand these feelings that are going through my mind.
That goes through my body.
You don't know me.
You won’t ever touch me again.
Not my body.
And NOT my mind.
Not now.
Not EVER!

This is so full of pain and disillusionment. That is hard to deal with I'm sure but remember God never
lets us down. This is a good write even though it comes from pain. Wonderful.

Powerful, and heartfelt, i could feel the pain and the anger in this piece clearly.
In matters of the heart, I have a scripture that I stand on in times like this:
"Weeping may indure for a night, but joy comes in the morning"...Keep you head up, I'm sorry you had to go through this ordeal.. Remember Isaiah 54: verse 17.....
