You were here....last night

As I lay asleep.... alone in bed

I heard you whisper my name

Like an angel.... like an angel so sweet

I felt you.... in me

You ran your fingers

Through my hair

And gently down my neck

Your breath against my cheek

I felt it in my soul

A sensation.... I've never known

Every care, every fear

Gone....with your touch

Your eyes.... I saw it

Peace is what I felt

You carefully laid beside me

Strking my face, my lips

Is where I laid my head
