Vampire PoemA Poem by Brittany BaA shortish poem I wrote when I was bored on the bus.
My throat itched and burned with thirst,
But water would've made it worse. The humans now smelt so nice, They wouldn't mind if I had a bite. My charm and beauty had tripled in size, So easy to bring them to their demise. She looked with desperate, lustful eyes, Not seeing in mine the dreadful lies. I told her we shouldn't linger, And beckoned with my index finger. She came running willingly, Not seeing through my unnatural beauty. She gripped my arm tightly, My muscles rippled slightly. I smelt the blood pumping in her veins, And I could barely restrain. I pulled her down the alleyway, She looked around with dismay. "What is this place, a graveyard?" "A place fit for a bard. He will sing of you, And of me too. The poor young maiden dead, A w***e most likely mislead. Of her traitor, there is no sign, Only two bite-marks where he chose to dine." Into her neck, I wined my fangs, And in my mind, the bard sang. At first she thought it was just play, But then she felt herself drain. She slapped my face uselessly, While I continued sucking loudly. My first blood, it was so sweet, I felt her heart skip two beats. As her body went limp, I threw it away, And heard the dogs begin to bay. They heard her breathe her last breath, They would alert the police of her death...
