Love's TragedyA Poem by J. M. Yeary
How tragic is life to never know love
To never have a hand to hold
To never look into a lover’s eyes
And lose one’s self in paradise
How sad it must be to hide a heart
From the beauty of a lover’s touch
To caress so soft, a tender cheek
Of the perfect love that all seek
How tragic is life to never know love
Nothing sadder I can imagine
I have never felt such emptiness
As longing for that perfect kiss
