I know it.

I know it.

A Poem by Taylor Munnerlyn

You are the one for me.
I know it.
Do not say that you are wasting my time.
I am allowing you to take up every second of it.
Do not say that I can do so much better than you.
I really cannot.
Or at least I don’t want to.
You are a given...From the gods.
They put you here to make the world a better place.
You can make everything and anything worthwhile.
You can do that with just a snap of your fingers.
..at least for me that is.
I was down and hated everything around.
You opened up my eyes and showed me the world.
You showed me all the colors and all the happiness.
Now you have left me.
But..
I am sure I can handle it.
It will just take some getting used to.
I know it.

You did a nice job addressing a lot of complex emotions/thoughts in a rather short poem.....not an easy task. From needing this person at the beginning to knowing you will be be okay without him, I liked how it made the whole poem complete. Nice work!
