losing what never was.

losing what never was.

A Poem by Taylor Munnerlyn

what once was found would never have thought to be lost.
if giving up and moving on is what has to be done then it shall.
for every second that a tear is shed another inch you have gone.
speaking words with you is really no help at all.
staying right where we were sounds so much better than this.
i though it was easy.
i thought it worked.
i guess not.
what now is lost is wished to be returned but never will.
for every inch you will go would be worth us not letting go.
but now time we have lost and everything of what we once had is now gone.
forever and always we should of had.
what once was found would never have thought to be lost.
but now has.

hmmm... i find this one both confusing and simple at the same time. its like, relating to not any particular situation but getting people too tottally understand what you, or the person you wrote about is going through. this takes some thinking... i like that :)
