i knew you were something different,

special,

from the day i met you.

even knowing that, 

i didn't even begin to realize how much you would 

soon affect me.

how much you would make me feel,

how much you would teach me.

i was oblivious,

to the feeling,

to the pleasure,

and to the happiness.

and i didn't know it then,

but i sure as hell do now.

i had fallen for you.

i had fallen hard.

for everything you did,

every story you told,

every smile.

i fell for everything you were.

but,

that was then,

when i didn't know it.

and this is now,

when it doesn't help to realize it.
