a rose

they say

its supid

just a flower

but it means more

a rose

something

that loves

that shows love

a flower yes

more than the little shades

its a plant

a rose

that loves more

than anything

something that holds together

that shows life

it even dies when old

something we all are afriad to do

its a rose

something i hold dear

its who i am

its what i want to be

something thats not afriad

to just let go

its more than just a rose

it holds life

beneath its petals

for all eternity to see
