a ghost he is

a ghost he is

A Poem by taylorrose

hes a ghost

in my familys history

locked away in there hearts

i only found out

not long ago

just about you

my brother

before me

before my sister

i know you died

that im sure

but whats hard to grasp

is that he did it

my own father

killed you

you didnt know me

but i swear i feel you

i wonder did you leave

or are you still holding on

i know im scared

but i must dig deep enough

just to see you

once in my life

what was it like in the womb

to never make it out

he wanted you

a boy

not a girl

especially two girls

brother i miss you

i never met you

but i do miss you

i was blue i almost joined you

was your time really up

i blame god

yes i know stupid

but he took you

and left me

i just needed you

who could protect my mom more than you

now your just a ghost in there lifes

they dont talk about you

he doesnt say hes sorry

for taking you

i cant say i can blame him

he has no reason to be sorry to me

but he should explain

at lest till me it was an accident

even those i know it wasnt

beer was what he wanted after you

a blue balloon flies high

in the sky just to say im thinking of you

are you happy where you are

do you look like mom or dad

people say i look like none

do you think its true

maybe we look alike

i wonder what you look like

i wonder how are family would have been with you

I think this is an interesting write; however I did catch quite a few grammatical/spelling mistakes. I am not sure if that's how it is supposed to be, but I found that it hindered from understanding the poem as well as it could be understood.

Besides that, I think the idea behind the poem was strikingly sad, but really amazing :)

What a way to find out you had a sibling!
A wonderful tribute to the brother you never knew but will always feel and love. the helpless little one who like most of us find that our lives are not under our own control. He was given back to God and faith will only grow stronger as you write. So trudge on my precious poet for you are reaching deeper into you soul everyday:)

In a life. Many mysteries can come alive with age. I lost a bother of two years old. I have his photo and like you. I wonder about him. I like the many questions in the poem. A very strong ending to a excellent poem.
