so cold

so cold

A Poem by taylorrose

what can i say

when my favorite teacher

turns to something so cold

saying bad of my mother

because she had to raise us on her own

my mother is a hero

she may not have money

to buy us things

but i love her

she was a good woman

who i feel deserves respect

she saved us from him

but a teacher

who i think so much of

to say these things

how could he

i mean he doesnt know my mother

how hard she works

the smiles she brings

times are hard for us

but ill make enough money

one day to help us both

he doesnt see that he hurt me

by saying this of my mother

Something better to say nothing then say words that are negative. Your teacher is wrong. I like the positive view of your mother and desire to help her. I hope you do. Life is give and take. Thank you for the excellent poem.

Some things are better left unsaid though. This write made me sad. Very well expressed. Makes one think.
