Ensnared

Ensnared

A Poem by taylornugent

Your light, it shines just like the sun
I thought that it could not be done
You've changed my mind and made me see
Just what love can do for me

Your nice, warm chest; your dark brown eyes
Just one look, then something in me flies
Up towards the skies: twisting, twirling, never-ending
Just your touch begins my heart mending

And even when you are far away
From you side I will not stray
Because you are the one for which my heart is bared
In your arms I remain ensnared
