Midnight SunA Poem by taylor.mickles
There is no magic star
Within the endless sky From child they feed us false hope For it is all a lie There is no point in love You'll avoid it if you're smart Always trying to please someone else Slowly mangling your heart The only thing I truly believe Possess's magic in the Great Beyond Is the moon that haunts my soul As it emits it's eerie song I walk toward it with no motivation As it lures me in I'm hypnotized with fascination Of the mystery behind his sinister grin But his light illuminates my path And his grin is somehow soothing He drifts me gently to sleep So my world can temporarily stop moving © 2013 taylor.mickles |
