Water Basin

Water Basin

A Poem by Fire&Ice

I bought a fish bowl,
and mine has a moon.

It does not rise,
it does not fall.

The pebbles that grate the glass bottom, gleam
as my moon shifts in the aquatic sky.

I decided against fish,
they'd probably eat my moon.
