HerA Poem by taylorlovesyouu"And her screams, her screams, how they haunt me in my dreams."Her. ... And her screams, her screams, How they haunt me in my dreams, How alive they appear, As they pierce my ears. And those eyes, those eyes, How dead with no one last try, Such a pity, such a shame, Her life, she cannot claim. Her damaged bones, her cracked bones, How they snap, how they make her moan, Her pained cries echo throughout the halls, Reverberating off the wooden walls. Her raspy breath, her struggle some breath, How it is so full of death, The maggots they await their meal, Hoping she does never heal. Her hate, her hate, How for me it is far too late, My apologies are worthless, It won't make her hurt less. And her heartbeat, oh, her heartbeat, Her body shall lie underneath a white sheet, Unmoving and cold, It shall await the mold. Her blinking eyes, her numbered blinking eyes, They never believed my lies, My words are useless, When they are so truth less. Those fingers, those breakable fingers, Their feeling will not linger, They and the cold become one, As their air escapes her lungs. She breaks, she breaks, Turning into something the doctors cannot remake, Shivering yet so still, And I cannot wonder how much longer she has till. And she dies, she dies, Leaving me behind to regret my lies, She's cold and unmoving dead, As she lies on the bed. She plagues me in my dreams. © 2010 taylorlovesyouuAuthor's Note
