Goodbye Forever

Goodbye Forever

A Poem by taylor lynn gallo
"

about an ex-boyfriend

"

Left me here, all alone.

Not the first time you said I’m done.

You couldn’t take the commitment.

At least that’s what you say.

But its funny, how you leave me

and take me best friends girl away.

You say you love her. But is it true.

Remember all those things I said to you.

I meant them all but now were through.

My life seems much better now.

You cross my mind every day, I’m not

going to lie. I will always care about you,

but my love for you will soon subside.

Goodbye forever, my long lost love.

I will never forget you, you were my

first true love.

I can tell that this is painfully close to you. The emotion is raw and real. And courageous.

When you are ready for some ideas on how to tweak the craft of the poem, I will be happy to give you some ideas. I am hesitant to do so now, because the work seems so emotionally close. I feel I need to ask permission to help.

My best to you. This poem has promise...
