Maybe you'll see the pain I'm caused, the hell that I go through,

Maybe you'll want to help me,because you've been through it too.

Maybe I won't always have to face it all alone,

Maybe you could hold my hand when the path can not be shown.

Maybe I will find you there when all is dead and gone,

Maybe you'll protect me when the darkness starts to dawn.

But.

Maybe this is way to much to be asking of you,

After all, I know you have a hundred things to do.

You probably have another persons hand you have to hold,

Someone to walk around with on your lovely path of gold.
