Feelings

People say that we should be thankful for our feelings.

But what is there to be thankful for when:

Happiness leads to

Sadness.

Confidence leads to

Arrogance.

Loyalty leads to

Bitterness.

Trust leads to

Betrayal.

Love leads to

Hurt.

What’s the point of feelings when all they cause us is pain?
