Sweet 16

Sweet 16

A Poem by Sunflower

sweet 16
no one knows what I mean
my night
oh the fright
I awoke to such a mess
Fearing the world would end.
Oh birthday of mine
Why did you seem to let me
Drink, Drink, Drink
Why didn't i think
I had stopped
Everything stopped.

Just what I needed
To make me seem more lenient
More helpless than before
It was just one day but now I just want more.

Now this has some teeth and a baseball bat to the knee. One very important thing someone who starts drinking must learn is 'the pray of the damned' it goes like this:

Dear Lord,
I will never,
ever, ever, ever
drink like that again
(those of us more experience in matters of god also throw in)
And this time, I mean it,

wait whens Saint Paddy's?
