If We Know

If we know how much it hurts

Why do we push each other down to the dirt?

If we know how bad it feels

Why do we say these things to get real?

If we know how the pain is

Why do we continue to do this?

If we know how tears show the truth

Why do we seem to be seeking rue?

If we know how the words stab

Why do we continue to jab?

If we know how to ruin each others lives

Why do we continue to do this to each other all the time?

If we know how it feels to cry ourselves to sleep

Why do we continue to ruin each others dreams?

Why not help each other up

We know it would be good enough.

Why not say things to make one another smile

We know it would be better off than crying awhile.

Why not say the truth in it all

We know it isn't true, we are perfect with no need to fall.

This is true...everyone in the world needs to help another person...but in this world that won't happen. It's all because of OUR generation. They are the biggest bullies in the world...and they don't seem to know when to stop. I loved the concept of this poem. These are great universal questions as well...but I hope one day people will realize what their actions have caused...cause if someone dies they are only going to have themselves to blame...I loved this write though. Thanks for sharing.
