When She Is Gone

When She Is Gone

A Poem by Sunflower

All that is needed is one more step
That takes everything I have left
One steady step over the edge
With screams silent, and falling down from the ledge.

Someone took a forceful push
Trying to make it faster than it should
She didn't care if her words hurt
All that remains is blood covering the dirt.

The girl you hurt oh so bad
She had the thoughts you had
Then you told her just what she was thinking
Now she is the one who won't stop bleeding.

She hates who she is
But she wouldn't admit it
She tries to act strong
But she's been handling it for much too long.

You gave her every reason to end
More importantly it came from someone who used to be her best friend
Sit in a corner of f*****g shame
When she is gone, You are who they will blame.
