6 Year Old, Black Mold

6 Year Old, Black Mold

A Poem by Sunflower

6 year old little girl
So sweet and innocent in todays world
Never told a single lie
Was always found by her mother's side
So unknowing of what was to hidden
now she is in the hospital, bed ridden.

Usually green and grows on trees
So dangerous, why couldn't it have been me
Filling her lungs ever so quick
Now it is making her deathly sick
Black all covering the underneath of the floors
Someone had put a fan in the room and didn't close the door.

Body shaking how can this happen
Poisoning her body reacting to the break in
It's infesting her little by little inch by inch
No idea why she was beginning to twitch
So dangerous they should have known
Now questions are rising if she will live to be full grown.
