A Shame To Be Alone

A Shame To Be Alone

A Poem by Sunflower

a shame to be alone
in this world dark and cold
with feelings of stone
where could be this place called home?

a path to take which leads nowhere
if only there was a map for here
a guidance for direction
one step to far and no progression.

as a subtle light appears
thoughts are asked to answer fears
which way should i go
only one of these thousands of paths will lead on.

No contact for days
feelings become lost and astrayed
why so lonely and broken with no means of hope
only months and no one taught her how to cope.
