Please, I'm Begging Please

Please, I'm Begging Please

A Poem by Sunflower

people change this i know,
friends come and they go,
you said you would never leave,
now i'm alone with the promise you couldn't keep.

A place so common and so taken in,
I think of you in every thought I begin,
Why not this be someone i can handle to leave,
but instead it's you and i lost the one who helped me become me.

Just screaming through my lungs,
i find a rope to be hung,
it takes all i can not to do it now,
but i am hoping you will come around.

Just talk to me please,
i am so lost that i keep saying please,
i barely sleep every night,
it burns my skin to be in the light.

THis is a REALLY good write. It's deep and full of bursting emotions that you portrayed in such a simple, easy way. It really adds to the piece. I loved the last line of this poem. Something about it adds to the thoughtfulness and mysteriousness of the poem. Nice job, and just know you're never alone in how you feel!
