So You Are Up There?

- Trying to Understand

 

So you are up there?

In God’s arms,

Is that why people,

Always stare at the stars?

 

So you are up there?

Still being you,

The one I was free with,

Without a clue.

 

So you are up there?

Being crazy,

Still using monopoly money at McDonalds,

To be silly and lazy.

 

So you are up there?

Without all these people who love you,

Just leaving us without a reason,

But one day we will meet again me and you.

 

So you are up there?

Looking over me,

Helping guide all your friends,

And touch lives of your family.

 

So you are up there?

Does that mean you know what’s next in our lives,

Since I think you are listening,

Does it mean anything to be dead or alive?

 

So you are up there?

If So when I get there find me,

We will talk again in the after life,

Just wait for me to see.
