I Am Here

I Am Here

A Poem by Sunflower

You say you need someone who will always be there,
No more need to look I am here.
Take a step away from the edge,
Inhale a deep, deep breath,
Now just breathe,
And let go of what you see.

Now just push your headphones in,
They can be reliable friends,
Always knowing exactly how you feel,
Always saying the emotion that is real.

Now let your feet take over,
Let them show you your four leaf clover,
You can be that lucky,
As long as you stop trying so hard honey.

Let the world fall off your shoulders,
I'm right here to hold those boulders,
No need just take your time,
Your Weight of the world is less than mine.

I will be here to talk you through it all,
But in my time of need I never call,
Just let me help you,
That is, what i know best to do.

You see that field you are walking by,
That is where one of my friends died,
I never talk about anything anymore,
And you still do not know why for sure.

I would rather listen than speak,
Because time is too precious to waste it on me,
I would rather help you be fine,
Then tell you all the problems lurking on my mind.
