Yellow Card

Yellow Card

A Poem by Sunflower

I can see while still frozen,
everything is motionless with pain.
My heart felt snapped and broken,
our team's heads all fell with shame.

They scored as the time felt still,
our bodies were statues of glass swords.
I feel the emotion, the stab of my will,
Horrid calls, a girl fell just to make one of my teammates get a yellow card.
