So Sure

So Sure

A Poem by Sunflower

Name by name,
Mistake to mistake,
No one but myself to blame,
Only so many options left to make.

A knife in my pocket,
But a razor blade in my hand,
No heart for a locket,
No one to understand.

The future is dead,
My past calls to be open,
Every line has been read,
My present has the blood red pen.

A stab at my heart,
Just to see if it is beating,
An attempt at a new start,
Has my sanity retreating.

Die myself alone,
Or die someone else who is free,
Leave my voice on my phone,
Listen to every word, call again for a repeat.

Love is a hopeless emotion given to the weak,
As I die I understand the cure,
Everyone's future is bleak,
And we should never feel so sure.
