Just Like Me

Just Like Me

A Poem by Sunflower

Such a pathetic girl,
Her father is pushing her away,
Such an unforgivable world,
Her father shouldn't have a say.

A girl so lost,
Her father makes her mind scream,
A girl who cannot pay the cost,
Her father yells even in her peaceful dreams.

How can she stand tall,
Why does he always pick a fight,
How can she handle it all,
Why does he persist to burn out her light?

Such a how to ask,
How a such to be,
Within her mask,
She is slowly dying, just like me.
