Little Things

Little Things

A Poem by tayaskyking
"

Of growing apart, of separation, of the little destructive forces of life.

"
52 Cents.
Three plates in the sink.
Little things,
That tear us

Apart.

I like how the structure of the poem contributes to its meaning. It is short and simple, yet it still holds a good deal of emotion. Also the way that the last word "apart" is separated, or torn from, the rest of the words reflects the what is happening in the poem.
