Divine Color

Divine Color

A Poem by Taubah Blackman
"

the cure to all hurt...

"

cleaning the mind Divine color calls into being,

all hope left drifting in the winds.

reminding the star gazing to be set blazing,

as time reveals the majisty of past sins.

and the truth comes to call,

as hiding fails to overlook the soul.

and in dreaming the status gleaming,

blinds the moment to lose control.

for accepting is harder than neglecting,

what is greater than a minor pain.

and as trouble reveals, the distance no longer conceals,

to be pleaseded with hearts vigorous strain.

left healing, the skies split into the reality,

escaping can no longer maintain.

and the pressure presses the knowledge

to be awakened and dealt with,

or collapse and drain.

it becomes toxic in the lungs,

as the screaming clogs to oblivious ache.

the chldren left in lands to comfort and contain

the pain while they stand awake.

eyes drifting

soul shifting

but creeping to a passion true.

while endless seeping to bleeding minds

the choice of what to do.

to believe

to understand

the distance can proclaim.

the trusted essence of submission,

a love each core will sustain.

His warmth glows and drifts,

into hearts frozen from the cold night.

while His words melt emptiness,

that drowns the lost children's fright.

and caresses, unrelenting,

the courage of the believer's soul.

for drifting in His Light, the world disappears...

and the heart breathes fire to gain control.
